Wireless System Troubleshooting

Welcome to the troubleshooting page for wireless backup camera systems. Here, we will provide you with expert guidance to help you resolve any issues you may encounter with your wireless backup camera system.

1. No Signal

If you are experiencing a "No Signal" message on your monitor, there are a few possible causes:

  • Ensure that the camera and monitor are within the recommended range for wireless transmission. Obstructions such as walls or other vehicles can interfere with the signal.
  • Check that the camera and monitor are properly paired. Follow the instructions in the user manual to pair them again.
  • Make sure that the camera and monitor are powered on and that the batteries or power connections are functioning properly. Check if the camera unit is receiving power: cover the camera's light sensor(like a light on the camera) with your hands to see if it light up the infrared light.
  • Check proper wiring to avoid loose and poor attachments and connections of wires, as this may affect the delivery of images.
  • Look at the camera to find if the antenna wire is off. Check if the antenna connector on the camera is loose.
  • Check if the voltage is stable and keep at 12V+.

2. Poor Image Quality

If you are seeing a blurry or distorted image on your monitor, try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Check if there is any interference from other wireless devices in the vicinity. Move away from sources of interference such as Wi-Fi routers or cordless phones.
  • Ensure that the camera lens is clean and free from any dirt or debris. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently clean the lens.
  • Adjust the angle and position of the camera to optimize the image quality. Experiment with different positions to find the best angle for your specific vehicle.

3. The screen is locked

If the screen is loscked and show a red lock, try the following steps:

  • Press and hold the menu button, and it will show the unlock icon, then press the confim button, the system will be unlocked.

4. The menu and icon on the screen are upside down

If The words and graphics in the device are upside down, try the following steps:

  • Hold the Function Decrease button a few seconds.
(Repeat several times until the graphics and word are normal.)

5. Black Screen

If you are seeing a black screen on your monitor, try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Check power at camera plug and have 12volts.
  • Check the car's battery is properly available or check the car for blown fuses. Connect the system to another vehicle or other available 12v battery.
  • It may have a ground problem with the initial wiring. Hook up a separate power supply or run a different power wire.
  • Check if the positive and negative connections are reversed when connecting the red and black wires.
  •  Try another cigarette lighter or connect the screen with another power cord to test the monitor.
